| All we charge is a one off ( i.e. not yearly) administration fee. A reduced fee is charged if you have a ‘Guardiennage’ or ‘Keyholding’ Only contract with us! | ||||||||
| This includes taking both external and internal photos of the property, writing up a suitable description (which is agreed with owner) and liaising with the various advertisers that we use, to add your house to the ‘Home Away From Home’ portfolio. | |||||||||
| As well as on various other web sites we also advertise our services in the Brittany Ferries Owners in France bochure. Future advertising plans include both Oxford and Cambridge University Press, English Media Company internal websites and some internal publicity within sections of the NHS, The British Army and the UK Music Industry. | |||||||||
| We will also be expanding to include advertising within the French market place. | |||||||||
| Please note that we do not actually charge for the advertising itself – that cost is borne by ourselves! | |||||||||
| We then charge a commission on each booking that we achieve. The commission is agreed between Home Away From Home and the owner and is based on the number of weeks let and the amount of rental achieved. | |||||||||
| The commission paid covers all necessary communication with potential customers including sending out terms and conditions and booking forms,collecting deposits and also advising clients on travel arrangements, providing directions to the property and giving them our contact details should they have any questions/problems during their stay etc… | |||||||||
| Should the initial enquiry come through the owner but Home Away From Home are subsequently asked to handle the administration of said enquiry the commission charged is reduced accordingly. | |||||||||
