'Le Clos' is a pretty, traditional stone cottage in the centre of Mégrit - a tranquil village set in the beautiful countryside of the Cotes d'Armor. It is only 45 minutes from the port of St. Malo and 30 minutes from the nearest beaches. It takes only 15 minutes to reach medieval Dinan and Brittany's capital Rennes is under an hour away.

The cottage is French owned and whilst it is equipped with modern appliances such as a washing machine and microwave it retains it's local charm. It is set in the courtyard of the owners' main property and has a small garden to the front - where you can relax on the garden furniture provided - as well as a larger garden/orchard to the side should prefer to have a barbecue or merely sunbathe in privacy.
As the cottage is in the village it is only a short stroll to the local 'boulangerie' for your fresh bread and croissants and there is also a brand new and very well stocked mini-market .

The accommodation is as follows:

On the ground floor there is a large comfortable kitchen/dining/living room with electric heating and a traditional log burning stove - ideal for holidays throughout the year. There is a TV/Video ( with a selection of English Videos) and a radio player for the use of guests.There is also a utility room and a wash hand basin and wc.

The kitchen if fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay ( but should you choose to eat out there a many good restaurants in the surrounding towns of Jugon les Lacs, Broons and Plelan le Petit.)

The first floor comprises of one double bedroom, one twin-bedded room and a third room housing a single bed and a cot. There is also a shower room with wash hand-basin and wc.

The Breton owner is extremely welcoming and as well as offering a bottle of wine on arrival she always treats her guests to some home made crêpes and local cider -well worth staying here just for that!

For the more active there are golf, tennis and horse riding facilities nearby as well as two outdoor swimming pools and large lakes offering water sports and fishing. The area is also ideal for walking and cycling.
