drive away, the town itself offers many facilities including several good restaurants/bars,
2 boulangeries, a small supermarket, a newsagents (that sells English newspapers),
2 banks and a post office. Fishing and water sports are also available on the
beautiful lake just on the edge of the town centre and there is going to be a
brand new outdoor swimming pool- with water slides - open for the summer of 2003.
For the more active there are golf, tennis and horse riding facilities nearby
and the area is ideal for walking and cycling.

The cottage is situated only 40 minutes from the port of St.
Malo and the airport at Dinard and is just 30 minutes from the nearest beaches.
It takes only 15 minutes to reach the beautiful medieval towns of Dinan and Lamballe
and Brittany's capital Rennes, with it's excellent shopping facilities, is under
an hour away. The cottage adjoins a lovely old stone
'longere', which the owners hope to renovate in the near future, and has a large
garden - where you can relax on the garden furniture provided or if you prefer
have a barbecue or merely sunbathe in privacy.

Accommodation is as follows: |
| On
the ground floor there is a comfortable kitchen/dining/living room with electric
heating - ideal for holidays throughout the year. There is also a bathroom with
shower and washbasin and a separate wc. The kitchen if
fully equipped to include a microwave, gas cooker, kettle, iron and ironing board
and a tv/video (with a selection of English videos) as well as a CD/cassette/
radio are provided in the lounge area. The first floor comprises of one
double bedroom and one twin-bedded room. The cottage
is ideal for couples or small families looking for somewhere well situated and
comfortable - but less expensive to rent !
